Hi, Anyone can advise the best procedure to get back the shining new look for the old boats. After sometime under the sun, the orange gel coating will turn pale. Normally, they will repaint the boat, but I find that the paint will peel and makes it look ugly later. Comment? Cheers! JO

Yes. We have used a car body shop type compund, called T Cut in the past - v succesfully. other product of similar style is Mer. However, this must be done before any painting of a lifeboat. Once a boat is painted for the first time, you will always have to paint it and T Cut will make no difference.
